This Week on Xbox: February 9, 2018

We’re officially nine days into a relatively short month and we have seen some new releases, expansion news, patch updates and the first batch of Games with Gold titles now available.

 

However, this week, we recap the top headlines, latest news and highlights from Xbox including forthcoming updates for the Xbox One consoles which will include the ‘Do Not Disturb’ feature, the ‘Next Achievements’ tab and the Mini Games hub and more.

Ubisoft is hosting a publisher sale until February 12 which includes discounts of up to 70% on titles like Assassin’s Creed: Origins, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands, For Honor, Far Cry Primal, Watch Dogs 2 and more.

A new title joins the backward compatibility library as the highly requested Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction is now available. New expansions for Middle-earth: Shadow of War, SMITE and The Sims 4 are also available and a new Mixer Hype Zone channel for Fortnite is now live and running.

This Week on Xbox: February 2, 2018

Another week has come and gone and as we settle into a brand new month, there is plenty of gaming, new and upcoming releases to look forward to.

We also take a look at the latest news, breaking stories and recap the week’s top moments which include a new look at Far Cry 5, upcoming updates for streaming service, Mixer including a direct Mixer purchase app and don’t forget to check out the Hype Zone Mixer channel which is dedicated to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

February is also Anime month and there will be deals on films and TV series as well as games including Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy plus a free weekend play for Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.

The first half of Games with Gold is now available so grab Shadow Warrior and Split/Second available for Xbox One and 360 and also via backward compatibility. And speaking of backward compatibility, there are new titles joining the library so don’t forget to pick up and play these new additions.

With Christmas just 10 days away, gaming, in general, is continuing to heat up this Festive Season with the latest Xbox news and highlights including the exclusive launch of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox Game Preview, the launch of Festive Season events for Call of Duty: WWII and Overwatch and the revamped relaunch of the Mixer app on Android.

This Week on Xbox: October 27, 2017

The weekend is here and we have plenty of gaming news and highlights with Xbox Live’s Jeff Rubenstein this week including the massive arrival of the original Xbox backward compatibility and the announcement of Xbox 360 backward compatibility titles enhanced for the Xbox One X and the release of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
