This Week on Xbox: April 13, 2018

No scares here, just another jam-packed episode of This Week on Xbox, highlighting the top news stories and features from the past week.

Popular battle royale title, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is hosting an Xbox Live Free Play Weekend next week running from April 19 to April 22. Players will be able to download the complete Xbox Preview version of the title including all game modes plus any progress saved will be carried over if players purchased the game once the free play weekend ends.

A brand new trailer for the four player co-op game, The Walking Dead from Overkill debuted this week. The action shooter is set within the The Walking Dead universe where you and your friends must survive both living and dead while co-existing as a unit against any and all pitfalls.

Robocraft Inifinity has arrived to Xbox One this past week. This multiplayer vehicular shooter game is also a console exclusive having also launched on Xbox Game Pass where players can build and assemble robotic vehicles in which you can drive, walk and fly amongst other things. The game also includes new gameplay controls, achievements and progression system for players to enjoy the limitless of their imaginations.

Finally, the highly anticipated launch of Ninja Theory’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice released this past week much to the excitement of fans on the Xbox platform. This dark fantasy adventure follows a Celtic warrior, Senua, who embarks on a journey for to save the soul of her deceased lover. The game has been highly praised for its stunning visuals, intense battles, enchanting musical compositions, intricate puzzles and the dark and harrowing theme of psychosis.
