Redesigned Twitch app available in beta for Xbox Insiders

Xbox Insiders members have got a first-hand experience at the brand new, redesigned Twitch app which became available this week.

Since the launch of the Xbox One and subsequent Twitch app, streaming has been buggy and at times, unreliable as it crashes leaving many streamers disappointed. According to a Xbox Program Manager, Team Xbox have been hard at work making various improvements to the app while adding some new features to the app including:

  • Live video previews: view livestreams while you browse
  • Better support for past broadcasts: see chats on offline videos
  • Improved stability: the Twitch app has been rebuilt from the ground up to improve your viewing experience
