Rocket League hitting the beaches in next update

“Winter is here”.

Well, here in South Africa but the sun is shining and the beaches are lined up with golden sands and cool waters for the summer heat as Psyonix welcomes players to Rocket League’s next expansion, Salty Shores.

The most sunniest map to date, the beachside arena will turn up the heat especially with a new sizzling hot vehicle arriving with the content update so you may need a sun lotion with a higher SPF. The vehicle, aptly named “Twinzer”, is one of the new additions along with the new ” Impact” crate, new beats from Rocket League x Monstercat Vol. 3, the start of Competitive Play season 8 and the distribution of Season 7 rewards.

Also arriving with the content update is a new in-game event called Beach Blast which more details into the event will be announced before the event’s launch on June 11. Additionally, some bug fixes and improvements were addressed and will go live with the update including a “Report Server” button which will alert when the servers “misbehave” during online matches and get them to immediately work on the servers so that you can get back to scoring those amazing goals.

The Salty Shores update “splashes down” on May 29 for console and PC and do stay close to our socials for the latest updates on their Beach Blast event.
