The weekend is officially off to a freezing start with cold fronts sweeping the country over the next few days. With that in mind, it’s the perfect time to grab your controller and jam out to some amazing games, solo or party up with friends. But before we get ready for the weekend, here’s a quick recap of the top headlines and news stories of the week:
Fortnite: Battle Royale is continuing its momentum with a new limited event mashup with Marvel Studios bringing the Mad Titan, Thanos from the global box office hit film, Avengers: Infinity War. This event will drop players onto the map, hinting the all powerful, Infinity Gauntlet. Once in possession, it will transform players in Thanos making you a hard target to take down.
The new May Update for Forza Motorsport 7 has arrived to the game along with various improvements and bug fixes that have been addressed. Also included in the update is a Honda-themed car pack which featured the launch of the 2018 Honda Civic Type-R which is available for free to all Forza Motorsport 7 players on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
The ID@Xbox Game Fest sale continues this week, focusing on Xbox One X enhanced titles like Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Q.U.B.E. 2 and Ark: Survival Evolved. And speaking of ID@Xbox, new titles were released this week from the program including Hyper Sentinel, Trailblazers, Raging Justice and Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition.
