Fortnite players can wield the exact same power Marvel’s mad titan, Thanos did in Avengers: Infinity War in a limited time event.
So, what is the event about?
Players can drop onto the map solo as you embark on the ultimate pursuit across the island for the source of unlimited power, the Infinity Gauntlet. According to the game’s patch notes, “Early in the match, a meteor will land in the storm safe zone, delivering the Infinity Gauntlet.” The first person to seek out the Gauntlet, gets to wield its power and transform into the Mad Titan himself.
The event’s description further adds, “If Thanos is eliminated, the Gauntlet will fall to the ground, free for the taking. If it sits unused for too long, it will disappear until another meteor appears.”
Of course, you would need some extremely powerful weapons to take down Thanos to claim the Infinity Gauntlet as only Rare, Epic an Legendary weapons classes will be available for the limited time event.
There are a list of abilities one can do as Thanos including knocking enemies and buildings down with one powerful punch, dealing damage by firing a blast powered by the Power Stone, regenerative shields and super jumping.
