The first week of the new month will see plenty of new releases coming to Xbox One including City of Brass and Conan Exiles. But as we ease into yet another work week, catch on some gaming news that happened over the weekend.
SEGA announces SEGA Genesis Classics pre-order
Over 50 classic SEGA Genesis games are coming to Xbox One this year, according to SEGA.
The legendary video game developer announced that preorders are available for their upcoming release, SEGA Genesis Classics ahead of its May 29th launch date. Some of the classic titles featured in this collection includes Comix Zone, Golden Axe I, II & III, Sonic the Hedgehog and the Streets of Rage series.
The collection will also include enhanced features with visual filters to preserve the games’ authenticity. There will also be multiplayer capabilities and Trophies/Achievements. The full list of titles of games included in the SEGA Genesis Classics can be found on the game’s official website.
PUBG Xbox Server Update
New server patch notes were released on Friday ahead of the test server schedule for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) which will conclude today.
This testing will test the game’s matchmaking systems on the newly available map, Miramar and Enrangel before launching the Miramar on the live servers. Map setting will be adjusted accordingly once the matchmaking systems have been tested.
Various settings will see some changes affecting the setting menu, out of game settings and a few other miscellaneous changes just to mention. The full patch notes can be viewed on the PUBG forum available here.
A Solo season arriving to Star Wars Battlefront II
He may be getting his own standalone film this year, but he will first get a themed season coming this month to Star Wars Battlefront II.
More details will be revealed closer to the season launch, this well-timed announcement announced by EA will feature content from the upcoming Star Wars film, Solo: A Star Wars Story as part of the season. As mentioned, a release date has yet to be announced, we can probably assume that the film will open up some locations which could find its way into the game in a map. And most likely expect some new cosmetic items like the young Han Solo, Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian to be added to the current collection.
