This Week on Xbox: April 27, 2018

The long weekend has officially kicked off in high gear with plenty of gaming to catch up on and esports content on demand. But with that in mind, here’s a quick recap of the week that was This Week on Xbox.

A reveal event was hosted in various cities globally for the concluding title of the Tomb Raider reboot franchise, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Some new feature have been added to the game, thanks to community feedback and preorders are available for the game ahead of its September launch. The latest Xbox update was officially launched to the general public this week, which some of the features XBPSA reported a while back will now be available for your Xbox One include the 1440p video output, the activation of the Radeon FreeSync for supported TVs and monitors, the auto latency mode and the share controller for Mixer are some of the features rolled out in the April update.

Xbox announced four titles up for grabs in May’s Games With Gold which the months welcomes Super Mega Baseball 2 and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on Xbox One and Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage and Vanquish for Xbox 360 and Xbox One via backward compatibility. All four titles are available for free to Xbox Live Gold members.
