A new limited event for the action shooter, Star Wars Battlefront II will be running a limited event featuring one if the most mysterious yet entertaining characters from the franchise.
Ewoks. Will. Be. Everywhere.
The limited Ewok Hunt event will put fans in the driver’s seat as their relive one of the most debated events in the Star Wars franchise how the Ewoks defeated the Stormtroopers in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi which forms part of the Night on Endor content update.
The Ewok Hunt event is a horde mode in where players will step into the boots (and iconic helmut) of the Stormtroopers on the forest moon of Endor. With blasters and flashlights at their disposal, players will need to push back the Ewok forces until an extraction team arrives to finish the mission.
Here’s the catch: for every Stormtrooper taken out, it respawn as an Ewok meaning every time you lose a team member, you increase the Ewok force as the Stormtrooper force dwindles.
The Ewok Hunt kicks off today, players will also receive some new, Endor-themed cosmetic items for current characters, namely Endor Han and Endor Leia. These new cosmetic items can be purchased using in-game currency or Crystals. These Crystals will be available for purchase using real-world currency which returns to the game next week.
