The popular battle royale title, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds forthcoming map, Miramar will be arriving to Xbox One in May according to game director, Brendon Greene.
Announced during the game’s PAX East conference panal on Saturday which was highlighted with an Xbox Live Sessions with electronic artist and producer, deadmau5, the announcement has been highly anticipated when Greene revealed details via social media in the lead-up to the gaming conference.
During the Xbox Live Sessions with Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb, Greene and deadmau5, the recording artist stated that he jut so happens to be a PUBG fan, having his fai share of “Winner Winner Chicken Dinners”. Unfortunately for him, he didn’t fair so well during the livestream.
PUBG ran a 72-hour PC event last week, Tequilla Sunrise, where four-man squads duked it out in an all shotguns and melee frenzy only.
Miramar, which is currently available as a PC version launched last year as the game entered Game Preview around the same time period. The game before then had only one map, Erangel. However, Greene ensured that they will be more information regarding the Miramar map coming to Xbox One in the weeks to come.
