Recent screenshots are surfacing on the interwebs that Microsoft is currently testing an Xbox feature within the Windows 10 Photo application.
The feature in question is a clip and screenshot integration which could allow users to edit, trim and re-upload clips and screenshots bypassing the seemingly frustrating third-party apps or the Xbox App for Windows 10 PCs in which one would acquire the clips and screenshots.

Already the process is frustrating and time consuming as users will have to download the clips and screenshots from the console, then importing them to an editing suite program and eventually re-uploading them rendering the Upload Studio as pointless as the app doesn’t support 4K clips.
However, the recent consoles update allow users to upload their clips and screenshots directly to Twitter, making sharing our gaming moments fuss free.

But as mentioned, the Upload Atudio doesn’t support 4K clips, the Windows 10 Photos app does, hitting a lightbulb moment for Microsoft. However, the Photo app on Xbox One, which has a limited form on the console, needs to be fully updated in-line with the Windows 10 version so it could be anytime soon for users to fully utilise the Photo app on Xbox One for editing purposes and have access to the clips and screenshots from Xbox Live from the PC Photos app.

The Xbox Live cloud storage will appear like in the image above alongside files and folders from another cloud storage like OneDrive. Users can manage their clips and screenshots from the Photo app much like managing files and folders on OneDrive which should make pruning outdated files a lot easier.
Microsoft are currently testing this feature internally but do stay close to social media for the latest developments on this feature.
