It’s a brand new month and that means plenty of upcoming titles to look forward to his month, the Spotlight and Spring Sale continues and a recap of the weekend higlights in gaming and esports.

Easter delivers plenty of eggs-oridnary content

Much like St. Paddy’s Day last month, plenty of our favourite games emphasised the dawn of the new month and seaobs by awarding its players with plenty of “Easter Eggs”. Fortnite welcomed the weekend with the launch of the bazooka-like weapon, and plenty of Easter-themed cosmetics.

The Easter celebrations continued when World of Warcraft introduced King Cluckcluck in a hilariously new video for new mounts arriving to its expansion, Battle for Azeroth. The result was rewatching the clip several times, wondering why laughing for a chicken is senseless before rewatching it again. Nice job, Blizzard!!!

Rocket League Championship Series races on in Europe

The Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) European leg went into week 3 of the tournament saw some incredible matches over the Easter weekend, which the highlight of the weekend saw Complexity and Fnatic do battle on Sunday.

Complexity dominated Fnatic throughout the match which saw Complexity stunning Fnatic 3-0 as Fnatic had another tall task as they faced Flipsid3 Tactics to secure a massive win in the tournament later the day.

Other matches from the day saw Flipsid3 Tactics face Team EnVyUs, Excel versus Gale Force Esports, Cimplexity and Team EnVyUs and the final match of the day contested between PSG Esports and Gale Force Esports. The RLCS continues on day two today.

2K reveals Wrestlmania-themed content event for WWE 2K18

Wrestlemania 34 is fast approaching with six days remaining till the biggest showcase in sports entertainment.

Publisher 2K Games revealed on social media a brand new content event for WWE 2K18’s online competitive mode, Wrestlemania 34 Road to Glory series. A series of events which the final event on Wrestlemania Sunday where players can earn rewards throughout the series by competing in matches to secure entry into the Wrestlemania 34 Pay-Per-View (PPV).

The matches and rewards are in rotation meaning players will engage in matches on arenas from RAW, SmackDown LIVE, Monday Night Nitro, ECW and more and the mode also introduced Boosts which can be equipped for a singles match.

This in-game mode will attract more attention for Wrestlemania week which kicks off with pre-Wrestlemania editions of RAW, Smackdown LIVE and NXT this week all leading up to the NXT: TakeOver event on Saturday and Wrestlemania 34 on Sunday.
