If you tuned in to watch the season premiere of Inside Xbox on Saturday, other nifty features for Alpha Ring members to test out were revealed during an interview segment with AMD’s Antal Tungler.
According to Tungler, Microsoft will be adding FreeSync support to the Xbox One S and One X consoles with better sync refresh rates for the Xbox consoles. Much like Nvidia’s G-Force, FreeSync will partner up with an Xbox One console to remove any tearing and other irregularities while gaming for a smooth, glitch-free experience.
Additionally, in the Alpha update, a new mode will be supported by compatible Xbox One displays, the Auto Low Latency Mode. This mode will automatically recognise a game currently being played which either turns on game mode or the low latency mode to optimise gaming. This will be useful to those Xbox One owners who use their console for streaming purpose or other media apps which will disable the game mode which utilising these apps.
For Alpha Ring members, be sure to download this latest update and let us know how these updates will benefit Xbox One owners.
