This week has been an exciting, newsworthy week with announcements of new titles in development, titles ported to the Xbox platform, roadmaps detailed and weekend events to look forward to.
With the return of Inside Xbox tomorrow, we look back at the week that was with a roundup of the week’s top news and highlights starting all the details going into the season premiere of Inside Xbox. The live broadcast show is the perfect platform for Team Xbox to interact with the Xbox community and share the latest news, games, breaking announcements and behind the scenes access. The show will be exploring the open seas with the upcoming release of Sea of Thieves with interviews with the team at Rare.
The show will also cover the latest on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Far Cry 5, the Duke controller, Game Pass news and more.
Plenty of news for Far Cry 5 including Far Cry Arcade, a free in-game feature for the players to create their own ultimate Far Cry experience to share with the community. Trailers for post-launch content arriving to Far Cry 5 were released this week for Dead Living Zombies, Hours of Darkness, and Lost on Mars. Let’s not forget, Far Cry 3: Classic Edition will also form part of the Far Cry 5 post-launch content.
Two more backward compatibility titles were announced this week as players can add Hitman: Blood Money and LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars to their existing library. Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition has arrived to Xbox One and PC which adds some brand new content to the game including new boss battles, a royal vessel boat to traverse the open seas with, a first-person camera mode and a crucial scene has been added to the final act of the game.
Don’t forget the final beta for Sea of Thieves is live now and so is the open beta of Tera.
