Epic Games have released the 3.00 update for Fornite’s battle royale mode on Xbox One and PC which includes new patch notes and new content that went live.
Some of the new content available with the update includes Battle Pass which contains some insane skins so you can dress up as an astronaut, a medical knight or a disco ball – the world is your oyster! There are other customisation options like skydiving trials or accessories to wear on your back, Epic has got you covered, literally!
The Battle Pass is purchasable for 950 V-Bucks, if anyone is asking…
Fortnite’s building feature has also been given some dramatic changes across all platforms and its Save the World co-op mode. Now, players can continuously build walls and all by holding down a button. Simple. Plus, Epic has simplified the building process by allowing players to build pretty anywhere and everywhere.
Also available with the update is the Hand Canon. Oh, this baby will blow your enemies “to infinite and beyond” despite it using Heavy ammo and it will have Epic and Legendary skins to boot. This can be found almost anywhere: treasure chests, supply drops or floor loot. If you see it, pick it up. There are several weapon changes that form part of this update so do have a read through the patch notes available below.
And say farewell to the ‘double pumps’!!!
But probably the most important update is that Fortnite now runs on 60fps consoles including the Xbox One X. This will immediately replace the old framerate option but Epic have added the 30fps as an option (for those who don’t have the One X).
Epic have detailed all the changes and more in their 3.00 update patch available now. You can also follow Fortnite on Facebook and Twitter.
