First person shooter Call of Duty: WWII has enjoyed global success since its launch in November 2017.
Returning to its WWII origins has proven successful in the past, its a recipe that continues the lineage and success fir the CoD franchise in its entirety.
And war may be a serious social matter by heart and CoD: WWII doesnt mess around with the theme especially with a new expansion pack, The Resistance, arriving to CoD: WWII. The expansion pack will include:
- Three multiplayer maps: Valkyrie, Anthropoid and Occupation
- A new War mode map, Operation Intercept
- A new Nazi Zombies mode map, The Darkest Shore
Although the expansion indeed packs plenty of punches, the trailer to promote the expansion packs plenty of funny chops, not punches.
Staying in the line of past live CoD trailers, the trailer features CoD players getting a little too excited about the game, creating their own resistance in the real world with some hilarious results.
What we do know is that The Resistance arrived to PS4 first yesterday (January 30) with Activision yet to officially announce a release date for the expansion pack for PC and Xbox One. But the expansion will most likely arrive a month later on PC and Xbox One.
