We may have to wait a couple more months until Red Dead Redemption 2 releases in Spring 2018 but it seems that the awesome folks at Rockstar Games are really looking forward to the game’s release especially since the studio has confirmed a crossover mission for Grand Theft Auto V.
Found hidden deep in the GTA Online’s Doomsday Heist files are descriptions of some RDR2 related content which can be unlocked once players have completed the crossover mission. Players will receive an in-game email detailing rumours of a lost relic which has recently resurfaced. This will initiate a treasure hunt for this relic as players will need to follow clues that have been mailed to their inbox and once found, players will need to complete the Headshot Challenge by attaining 50 headshots in Freemode. Once the challenge has been completed, a GTA$250 000 reward awaits them plus the revolver will be unlocked for PS4 and Xbox One versions of the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2.
Although it has yet to be confirmed whether RDR2 will be coming to PC, the treasure hunt and the Headshot Challenge is available for the GTA Online PC version.
