Bungie is looking to recruit more players as the developer announces a free trial for its first-person shooter, Destiny 2, which started this past Monday.
Started on November 28 for PS4, Xbox One and PC, Bungie will be making a large size of the game available to play before purchasing the full game once the free trial ends. Any saved progress will be thus carried over to the full game.
So, what can new recruits expect in the Destiny 2 free trial?
The Destiny 2 free trial comes at a rather tricky time for the studio as players last week called out Bungie over its game’s XP scaling in which Bungie remained confident that the necessary changes were made to the game’s earning experience. However, a fan noticed that something else had changed and called Bungie out on it, to which the studio confirmed the data on Twitter.
Bungie had also stated that they “will be watching and reviewing XP game data to ensure that these changes meet our expectations, as well as yours”.
But as Bungie prepares for the game’s first expansion next month, the free trial can be a way of promoting new players to continue their Destiny 2 journey long after the trial ends…and we certainly don’t have a problem with that.
