Game Releases for Xbox One & Windows PC: November 2017

We’ve finally entered a new month and a month away from 2017 coming to a close…but it another month with promising gaming releases guaranteed to keep you and your mates entertained.

Here’s what releases you can expect this month:

Call of Duty: WWII (Xbox One, Windows PC)

Sledgehammer Games returns to World War II in the latest installment of the Call of Duty franchise. This CoD entry sees the game rerouting back to basics with familiar gameplay mechanics with heavy emphasis on storytelling and a classic infantry-based combat. A step back from Infinite Warfare’s futuristic style of gameplay, will CoD: WWI be a step in the right direction?

Super Lucky’s Tale (Xbox One, WindowsPC )

Xbox’s exclusive release, Super Lucky’s Tale arrives alongside the Xbox One X launch. The cute, spunky adventure platformer brings old-school gameplay with an action-packed mini-games and obstacle courses while exploring hidden worlds and conquering the Jinx levels. As Lucky, you’ll embark on a journey that will test Lucky’s inner strength while helping his sister to retrieve the Book of Ages from the villainous Jinx.

Can you save the world from the nefarious Jinx? Super Lucky’s Tale drops November 7 only on Xbox One and Windows PC.

Need For Speed Payback (Xbox One, PC)

We’ve all got a need for speed and payback will be ours when Electronic Arts release the latest entry in the Need For Speed series.

Need For Speed Payback sees you racing for glory and vengeance in Fortune Valley’s underworld as a cartel plans to take over the city plunged in corruption. The stakes have never been higher as you and your reunited crew plan to overthrown The House and take back the city.

Rule Fortune Valley once more as Need For Speed Payback releases November 10.

L.A. Noire (Xbox One)

No introduction needed…just kidding, folks.

A few months ago, Rockstar Games literally caught us off-guard when the studio announced that their noir crime drama, L.A. Noire will be re-releasing on four additional platforms including Xbox One.

Set in post-WWII America, Cole Phelps returns to California as a USMC veteran to take on his new position as an LAPD officer. Following a successful murder case been solved, Phelps gets promoted to detective. Case after case, Phelps develop a reputation for solving the most difficult cases which land him in Vice where his affair is being used for a major cover-up.

Find the clues, follow leads and solve cases when L.A. Noire re-releases on November 14 on Xbox One.

Star Wars: Battlefront II (Xbox One, PC)

Amidst the microtransaction controversy surrounding EA and Star Wars: Battlefront II, don’t let it detract that we’ll be getting a slice of Star Wars heaven a month before the release of The Last Jedi in December.

Players will be immersed in a brand new Battlefront experience as you choose the fate o hero set in a gripping narrative as you can choose between a trooper, starfighter, an elite soldier or play as one of iconic Star Wars characters in campaigns that bridge across 30 years of Star Wars.

May the Force be with us all as Star Wars Battlefront II drops November 17.

Don’t be alarmed, these aren’t the only titles scheduled for release this month. There are plenty of more gaming to be done this month. Don’t forget that Gold members can get their hands on Games with Gold titles and for Game Pass members, more titles have joined the existing library so get gaming now…

  • LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 (Xbox One) – November 17
  • The Sims 4 (Xbox One) – November 17
  • Football Manager 2018 (PC) – November 30

And let’s not forget that we’ll be celebrating the global launch of the Xbox One X on November 7 however, South African Xbox fans will most likely see the console on South African soil mid-December. But in the meantime, #FeelTruePower with the latest commercial for the Xbox One X.
