Bungie announces launch date for upcoming Destiny 2 expansion

Destiny 2 fans, mark your calendars as Bungie reveal the upcoming Destiny 2 expansion, Curse of Osiris, will be dropping December 5th.

The first expansion for the shooter title sees players dropped in the midst of a Vex invasion of our solar system as we travel to Mercury to reunite with a banished member of the Vanguard, Osiris, whose name has become synonymous with Destiny lore as the character lent its name to the multiplayer mode, Trials of Osiris.

This expansion will come with a new planet to explore, new story campaigns, activities and loot and possibly a boost to the level cap when it launches. The expansion trailer revealed to be bringing some greater depth into the current single-player campaign and provide a better character backstory for the Osiris character.

No pricing has be made available for the expansion just yet however for Season Pass holders (who bought the Deluxe Edition with the Season Pass), they will download the expansion for free.

Destiny 2’s Curse of Osiris drops December 5th. To gain access to Expansion I and II, you can purchase the expansion pass on the Destiny’s site.
