Xbox’s Fall Update adds more customisation: October 2017

The much-anticipated Fall Update has arrived for Windows 10 devices and of course, Xbox One consoles. The update was first revealed to Insider Alpha Ring members just days before the official rollout on Monday.

The latest changes include a customisable Home screen, several changes to the Guide and a more fluid transition when upgrading your Xbox One. Xbox One owners can now link their favourite gaming titles and their friends to their Home screen with a block layout as Microsoft also promised that owners can now move throughout the Guide without ever leaving your game.

Even more great news is that owners won’t need an external harddrive when upgrading your Xbox One. Simply transfer all your settings and games (of course!) via the internet network and…voila!!!

The full list of changes coming to your Xbox One was detailed in a video posted on Xbox’s YouTube channel on Monday.
