Oh yeah, things are about to get spooky…
Mark your calendars for October 10th as Blizzard will be launching Overwatch’s Halloween Terror event well ahead of Halloween. The event, which was introduced last year, is a PvC co-op mode with four heroes battling out in a fun yet entertaining brawl against a horde of enemies.
Although not much has been teased about the event except for an ominous tweet on Overwatch’s Twitter account…
…and if that doesn’t excited (or spook) you out, a couple of skins, emotes and much more has been leaked ahead of the Halloween Terror event. The themed skins were leaks through online ads, though, it was compiled onto a subreddit, revealing the skins for Mei, Symmetra, Zenyatta and Reaper.
In the above-mentioned tweet, McCree will be given a Van Helsing-inspired skin while Reaper could be a Dracula or Jason Voorhees looked skin??? It’s quite confusing to pinpoint what Reaper’s skin is poised to look like but the event will be returning to consoles including the Xbox One and PC.
There are still plenty of unanswered questions we have for Blizzard like which maps will be decked out for the event will we see the return/continuation of the Junkrat’s Revenge mode or something similar and which other characters will get some spooky skins? I guess we’ll have to wait until October 10 to find out…
