Rockstar teases news for western title Red Dead Redemption 2

Rockstar Games, last week, took to social media to announce that they will drop news regarding their western action-adventure title, Red Dead Redemption 2.

The sequel to the 2010 release was originally scheduled for a release this year but had to push it back for a 2018 as the studio revealed in a press statement back in May this year.

“We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready. We are really excited to bring you more details about the game this summer. In the meantime, please enjoy this selection of new screenshots from the world of Red Dead Redemption 2.”

Now that the months have gone by, we have accepted their decision as the studio dropped plenty of additional content for another of its successful releases, Grand Theft Auto V and the announcement of L.A. Noire to be ported to four additional platforms earlier this month.

While the teaser could potentially reveal the launch date for Red Dead Redemption 2 or could reveal more footage for the western title, all will be revealed on September 28 at 11am ET (5pm CAT).
