More details have emerged for the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII Zombies mode. According to Sledgehammer’s senior director Jon Horsley, he revealed what players can expect from this Zombies mode.
“The mode is focused on exciting four-player cooperative combat against waves of increasingly deadly zombies. Call of Duty WWII’s Zombies mode is grounded in a gritty, horrifying setting based on World War II, and we take things to terrifying new levels.”
Horsley further added that this CoD Zombies mode will be “the most terrifying Zombies experience we’ve ever created”.
Horsley also gave more information into the mode’s location and narrative which will be set in a quiet Bavarian town during the later WWII years.
“Players will be transported to a horrifying corner of the town, where bloody sewers, evil laboratories, and ancient tombs will reveal their dark secrets. It’s an immersive thrill ride, and developing the canvas and the environment the player is immersed in was a fun challenge for our team.”
Sledgehammer will release more information for the PC multiplayer beta and its Zombies mode closer to launch on their official CoD website.
