A fourth title could join this year’s releases Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein: The New Colossus.
We were treated at this year’s Bethesda E3 conference when the publisher/developer announced new titles set for a 2017 release which includes a Dishonoured expansion, sequels to The Evil Within and Wolfenstein franchises plus VR editions of popular titles Fallout 4 and DOOM and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim making its way to Nintendo Switch consoles.
Now it seems a brand new (and unannounced) title will be releasing this year has surfaced which has many wondering what this title could be. According to an interview with Tek Syndicate, Bethesda’s Marketing head Pete Hines dropped quite a lot of hints of an IP the studio has been working on.
“We have a ton of stuff going on, and we even have a game coming out this year that we haven’t even told anybody about yet,” he said. “They can wait. It won’t be so long.”

Many have believed that it could be a Game of Thrones title, even though that was nothing more than a hoax…
Others stated it could be another Elder Scrolls entry…
…and the rest were surprised that there’s another Bethesda title scheduled for this year
Hines, after the interview, took to Twitter to let everyone know that his comments should be ignored as he stated that he “Probably just had a concussion from the beating I took online and was rambling”. He thus went on to say that the tweet was a joke and in another tweet stated that he stands by his original comments.
“I’m positive I knew what I was saying in the interview,” he said. “The tweet was a joke I was making to MrMatty.”
Either way, the studio has been extremely busy over the past few years and this recent revelation surely won’t damper our spirits, but it most certainly has us intrigued into this new project.
