Get your Fireteam ready for a month of fully loaded content
What an impressive week it has been for Bungie and Destiny 2. The online multiplayer has dominated Twitter news feeds and has been livestreamed on YouTube. The game which launched last week, already looking toward the future when they dropped an outline of Detny 2 content for the next four weeks.
This week, Nightfall content will drop on Sept. 12 along with Flashpoint: Nessus and the Leviathan raids will launch the next day (Sept. 13). Trails of the Nine: Countdown on Eternity starts on Friday (Sept. 15) and the Xur marks its return on the same day.
Other Destiny 2 content will more Flashpoints, more Trials of the Nine and the beta of the Leviathan Raids Guided Games towards month end. For more information, visit Bungie’s website or check them out on Twitter.
Staying with Destiny 2 news, the game’s first expansion has been announced as players will travel to Mercury in “Curse of Osiris”.
The expansion, which first showed up in the Xbox Store, will have a new playable region, Infinite Forest, will feature in this expansion alongside new story missions, themed weapons, armor and gear. Destiny players will also get their hands on new co-op activities and competitive multiplayer arenas as Bungie have yet to reveal when the expansion will release.
Finally, mere days after launch day, Destiny 2 has racked up over 1.2 million concurrent players on Steam as they tweeted a thanks to all Guardians for their support.
