In a surprise announcement from Rockstar Games on Thursday, the developer revealed that the detective adventure game, L.A. Noire is coming to four more platforms including the Xbox One.
According to a press release, the Xbox One version of L.A. Noire will include the complete standard game and all the game’s expansions with enhanced visuals including lighting, camera angles, high res textures and more for a better gaming experience. The Xbox One version will also have enhanced 4K support for the upcoming Xbox One X console.
A VR version, L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files will be the developer’s first venture into virtual reality as the version will be available on the HTC Vive.
Originally released on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the game was praised for its neo noir aesthetics, storytelling, facial animation technology and its music production having won a BAFTA Video Game Award for Best Original Score in 2012.
L.A. Noire will release on November 14 for Xbox One.
