We’re officially into the new month…
So, while I was busy with the afternoon article, a brand new trailer for Bungie’s upcoming FPS, Destiny 2 drops and it wasn’t what I was expecting…at all. The live action trailer, directed by Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Voght-Roberts, is a short film which introduced players to the world of Destiny 2.
According to its full description on YouTube, “Everything you love about Earth is gone. Except for the Last City. And now a psycho rhino named Ghaul is coming to take that away too. On September 6, it’s time to grab some big guns, unite our scattered heroes, and take back our home.”
Featuring music from Grammy Award winning group, The Beastie Boys, the game will release September 6 on Xbox One and Windows PC.
Moving onto yet another highly anticipated release, the Private Beta for Call of Duty: WWII has gone live today (September 1) for all console platforms. This is now the second weekend Activision is hosting the beta (last week was exclusively for PS4) as no word from Activision whether the beta will come to PC. Activision has since rolled out new changes including a new map and more points for kills in Domination.
The beta will run until September 4 at 10 am PDT (7 pm CAT) for all Xbox One owners so if you’re in possession of a code, redeem the code on Call of Duty’s website today.
Call of Duty: WWII will release November 3 on Xbox One and Windows PC.
With Destiny 2 arriving in a few days, will you be getting your hands on a copy of the game? Will you be participating in the Call of Duty: WWII Private Beta this weekend? Let us know in the comments section below or follow Xbox Players SA on Facebook and Twitter.
