EGE 2017: Third day sees tournament finals and competitions galore

Third and final day of the Electronic and Gaming Expo (EGE) saw major tournaments crowning their champions and plenty of giveaways for convention goers.

Several competitions run by Cape radio station, kfm, gaming site IGN Africa and African Cyber Gaming League saw giveaways ranging from cash prizes, gaming accessories and merchandise, video games and consoles which the lucky winners get to walk away with.

Staying with winners, EGE crowned champions. VS Gaming crowned White Rabbit Gaming as this year’s Dota 2 Grand Masters Champions after successfully defending their title against xTc Gaming in a nail-biting contest.

Staying with crowning champions, Energy Fear (Energy eSports Gaming) defeated Krypto Gaming at the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare tournament in what could be described as a decisive victory, winning 3-1 on the day.

As we draw a close to a successful EGE outing, we look towards the next gaming convention expo, rAge at the TicketPro Dome, JHB from October 6-8.
