The Electronic and Gaming Expo (EGE) once again is back at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) this weekend (July 28-30) and it will be cranking up the temperature to bring the best in gaming, technology and culture.
With VS Gaming as its headline sponsor and Cape Town-based radio station, KFM, as its media partner, the three-day event will kick off today as two tournaments will dominate much of the day. Featured titles for tournaments will include Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2017, Injustice 2 and FIFA 17 as well as a King of the Hill tournament for Rocket League, Dota, CS:GO and plenty more.
But if you’re looking for something more entertaining yet competitive, a qualifying for Just Dance will take place at EGE so lace up your dancing shoes and get grooving.
Other featured tournaments including The HWBOT World Tour and the Cape Town leg of the Overclocking World Championship qualifying round will take place this weekend. VS Gaming will play hosts to the Dota2 Grand Finals.
According to VS Gaming CEO Cambridge Mokanyane: “This expo is all about esports, cosplay and gaming – both competitive and casual, so it makes perfect sense for VS Gaming to be involved. It’s really the epitome of all things we love and promote. This event attracts people from all over South Africa who share similar passions, so it is a natural fit for us to hold our Dota2 Grand Finals here as well.”
