On Friday’s This Week on Xbox, Larry Hyrb introduced the latest update rolled out for Xbox One consoles is quite a sizable update, to say the least…
So, what’s included in the latest update?
Xbox One owners will now be able to add their own images to be used as custom gamer pics. This has been one of the most requested features as now you can upload the images onto the Xbox One console directly or via a Windows 10 PC or via a smartphone. These images can also be used as background and/or custom profile images for your Xbox Club/s.
Also part of the latest update is the co-op capability for co-op streaming on the Xbox One. Through the Mixer streaming service, players of up to three people at a time can seamlessly stream together in one broadcast. To invite users to join your co-op streaming, select the option to invite on their profile and voila…
For users who share their console with other people, this latest update will link up a user’s profile to their controller/s. This feature will give automatic sign-in into your profile through the controller every time you switch on the Xbox.
To set up this feature, go to your “Settings”, select “Sign-in, security & passkey”. Then select the “This controller signs in” option and “Link controller” to enable the feature.
