Everyone loves a game with a solid narrative, crazy bonkers graphics and an enjoyable campaign and multiplayer modes. But when you stuck with entertaining guests or if you’re not in the mood for faceless opponents and trolls, here are some of the best offline multiplayer titles to entertain your family and friends.
Rayman Legends

Quite a personal favourite of mine, the Rayman character takes me back to some of my earlier gaming days. Rayman Legends is one of the most entertaining titles I’ve ever come across borrowing features from the past like its intricate puzzles and level design and pairing them with some fantastic graphics, a happy-go-lucky soundtrack and a beloved character. And if you and your company do get tiresome of the many campaigns, there’s a football mini-game, Kung Foot, if you’re itching to “lace up” your soccer boots.
Rock Band 4

From the developers of Guitar Hero and Dance Central to name a few, Rock Band 4 could possibly be the best Rock Band game to date. I mean, who hasn’t dreamed of being part of a band? Surely, I have. Probably one of the best party games on this list, you can opt to mess around and have fun or take your love and passion for music and go all out. Either way, who doesn’t like headbanging to Metallica, right?!
Mount Your Friends

As awful as the game’s title suggests, Mount Your Friends is a terribly fun game to play and spectate. Source: Twitter/@SteigerGames
Yes, this game is quite what you would expect, mounting your friends but not entirely. The main objective is to mount your fellow teammates in speedos (weird) with a moving banana (even weirder) by using only your hands and feet to create a human pyramid of sorts. Whoever makes the highest “pyramid” wins, but using hands and feet only, of course…
Minecraft: Xbox One Edition

If you haven’t joined our #MinecraftMondays by now, you would know that the game has a soft spot in most hearts. The sandbox open world title has garnered plenty of attention and it deserves every single one of it. The task may sound simple, create your world and sustain it and if you have seen the worlds created by Minecraft players is definitely worth seeing but remember, there will always be that one person who wants to build a structure for his own, there’s always a mutiny?
Rocket League

Rick and Morty Rocket League DLC will be released as part of Rocket League’s second anniversary. Source: Twitter/@gamespot
A game I have recently picked up, Rocket League has exceeded every single one of my expectations and more. Basically, it’s football with supercharged vehicles and I absolutely love it! Quite similar to Bumper Cars where you can slam and crash your opponents into the walls before you chip the ball into the goal post, it’s the perfect alternative to FIFA and PES if you’re not really good at the giant football titles but we can bet you could be great at Rocket League.
