On Tuesday, Japanese developers Square Enix dropped a video announcing an upcoming DLC for Final Fantasy XV’s Prompto.
An untold story into one of the four protagonists, players follow Prompto as he separates himself from the group and plunges into an artic-like environment. As Prompto comes to grips with the environment, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery as he attempts to control his destiny.
Given Prompto’s skill set and expertise, the DLC will focus towards a third-person-shooter as players will have access to firearms, from handguns, assault rifles and rocket launchers.
Square Enix are planning future DLC’s for Gladio and Ignis as Episode Prompto will be available June 27, 2017 for PlayStation and Xbox One.
