On Monday, Xbox’s Global Product Marketing Manager Bree White announced more customisation and availability for the Xbox Design Lab.
Since its unveiling last year, thousands of Xbox owners have designed and customised their very own Xbox controller donning their signature look. Allowing such creative freedom, Xbox has seen the success of the program and therefore adding new details, colours and design combinations along with a refreshed interface.
New customisable additions to the Xbox Design Lab include:
- 4 new colour options including Ink Blue, Mineral Blue, Sierra Brown and Desert Tan
- 11 new thumbstick colours including Glacier Blue, Zest Orange, Retro Pink, Electric Green, Robot White, Lightning Yellow, Ash Gray, Ink Blue, Mineral Blue, Sierra Brown and Desert Tan
- Metallic finishes for D-pads and triggers
- Black rubberized grips
Aside from its availability in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico, its now available in the United Kingdom, France and Germany. Other European countries will access the Design Lab later this year and at $79,99 for a controller, additional charges may apply.
