Assassins, a panda, motor vehicles and beloved characters from South Park, Ubisoft showed off the best from their studios worldwide and it even brought a creative director to tears.
On Sunday, Xbox premiered the official trailer for the new entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Origins. However, the game was explored in much great depth during #UbiE3.
Ubisoft also unveiled the upcoming sequel, The Crew 2, this time including a wide variety of vehicles from sports cars, off-road vehicles, speedboats and planes to broaden the scope allowing players to race anything, anywhere. Although no official date has been confirmed, Ubisoft is planning a 2018 release.
There’s a war brewing between superheroes and supervillains in the quaint town of South Park. In The Fractured but Whole, the game shows it’s exploration, humour and a new battle system powered by Snowdrop all while taking jabs at popular superhero films. Releasing on October 17, will you bring peace to South Park?
Ubisoft also debuted its nautical adventure title, Skull & Bones. While it has drawn its comparisons to Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. Skull & Bones, a pirate multiplayer where yo can sail the seas alone or with a party of friends as you look to cement your pirate legacy. Set in the Golden Age of Piracy, you can customise your ship, build fleets and take your fleet out to plunder gold and treasure from enemy ships.
An expansion for the open world sporting title, Steep, was announced and it will focus on the 2018 Winter Olympics. Road to the Olympics will give players Winter Olympics events bringing more diversity than its standard version. Participate in events such as slaloms, downhill cross, slopestyle, halfpipes and big air, Steep: Road to the Olympics will arrive December 5, 2017.
We also got an exclusive gameplay look at Far Cry 5 showing how you can hire members of the Resistance, using their skill sets and advantages and command animals to do your bidding to take down forces to liberate the town.
Ubisoft closed their conference with the world premiere trailer for the upcoming game, Beyond Good and Evil 2. It has been over 14 years since the first game was released and it was emotional especially for game director Michel Ancel, who trended due to his rousing ovation from the audience in attendance.
This moment triggered something incredibly special and that’s the universal power of gaming. It was so sincere and beautifully, millions of people worldwide reacted similarly following the announcement of Beyond Good and Evil 2.
